Every item you see listed in The Trash Pile's shop is one-of-a-kind.
That means you're literally the only person on the planet who will own that ridiculously rad piece of upcycled clothing. Wear your tie dye loud and proud and treat it with love, and it'll love you right back for a long time.
Follow these instructions to ensure vibrant colors for years to come.
- Wash inside out in cold water
- Use gentle, non-bleach detergent (I use Tide)
- Do not use fabric softener
- Hang or lay flat to dry
- If you must tumble dry, use a no heat setting
- Avoiding heat is especially important for reverse tie dyed and bleached items
- Do not iron
Tip: Just like your black jeans will fade over time if you put them in the dryer all the time, tie dye will also fade over time if you put it in the dryer frequently. Avoid heat to keep colors most vibrant and to avoid damage like holes and shrinkage.
